What kind of boats do you have?
Tillery Boat Rentals continuously upgrades our fleet so the boat you will receive is always the best rentals on Tillery!
Our fleet ranges from a 3-12 passenger pontoons.
All Pontoons have bimini tops to shade a portion of the boat.
The bass tracker has live wells, depth finder, trolling motor, and fish finder.
How do I rent a boat?
Simply go to our Reservation page by clicking here: Reserve Or click any of our "Reserve" or "Book now" buttons throughout the site. Then select your category (Pontoons, Day One, or The Lilly Pad), select your date(s), and click “Book Now” beside an available boat. Our website will walk you through the remaining steps to book and pay for your reservation online. I you are looking to reserve a boat for a half day or have any other questions, call 1-844-Tillery.
NOTE: Reservations over 100 days out or into our new season represent the date reserved and not nessessilarjy the price of the boat or vacation rental. Prices rise and fall depending on the on or off season as well as the new year. Holiday Pricing is updated every season and the price may not be represented if booking 100+ days in advance.
Is a security deposit required?
To hold a rental Boat or the Lilly Pad for a specific date we require a $$200 deposit, per day of your rental and per item on that booking. This deposit goes toward your total balance and reserves your rental for the day you want. Holidays require a 50% deposit
This deposit is non-refundable for our rentals, we will however always be able to change your booking date for any reason one month in advance or due to inclement weather. If not due to weather, there is a $100 fee after the second change.
Holiday rates are locked in if your booking is changed from a holiday to another booking date.
We do a walkthrough of each boat before each rental to confirm the number of life jackets, anchors, and other gear and to note any pre-existing damage. This is written and documented via pictures we keep on file. When you return the boat, we will do a final walkthrough to ensure all life jackets, anchors, and boating gear are present and to ensure no damage has occurred during your rental. If damage is found, we will notify your immediately after damage/repair costs are assessed.
What are your hours? What are the pick up and return time?
Our hours will mimic the hours of Lilly’s Bridge Marina. For now, boats can be checked out as early as 9:00 AM and must be returned by 6:00 PM. (Off season rentals are from 9am-5pm)
Since the boat must be filled up once returned, we recommend you return at least 15 minutes prior to the marina’s closing (6pm) time to ensure enough time to fuel up.
We require all of our vessels to be fueled at Lilly’s Bridge Marina, where we launch from. If you leave before you pay for your fuel you will be charged an additional fee.
If you rent for more than one day, you can keep the boat overnight at your lake house or dock it at the marina overnight.
Do you allow overnight rentals?
Yes, we do allow overnight rentals.
To reserve a boat overnight you will have to pay for two days and the boat is to be returned by end of day (6pm) on your last day.
If renting two half days for use overnight you are charged one full weekend price.
How do I check into the Lilly Pad
You do not need to check into the Lilly Pad, we will have it unlocked for you and the key will be on the counter so you are able to lock up when you are away.
Checkin is at 3pm, checkout is at 11am
When you are checking out please leave the front door unlocked and leave all linens and towels in the living room.
Yes you can cross the pad to the marina, but you must wait for the forklift to be back up the hill before you do so.
Lilly’s Bridge Marina reserves the right to dismiss any renter for any reason it deems reasonable or necessary.
Do you offer discounts?
YES! We offer discounts for multi-day rentals and weekday rentals. (Rent 3 days get the 4th 50% off, rent 6 days and get the 7th free)
these days do not have to be consecutive! We will track your rentals from April 1st - October 1st each season and apply discounts as you accrue them.
Military (active duty and veteran), Fire, Rescue, Police, & Paramedics receive 10% off every rental.
What additional charges are required?
All applicable taxes and Admin fees are applied and visible on your booking invoice.
If any damage occurs or equipment is lost or destroyed you are responsible for the repairs must pay for any damages immediately upon return.
Our rentals are full of fuel, you are only responsible for what you use during your booking.
How is fuel handled?
All of our boats are full of fuel when you arrive. You will be responsible for what you have used the day of your booking.
For your convenience, our boats are located at Lilly’s Bridge Marina. That is where you will depart and return to fill up the boats. Once back at the docks our staff will fill the boat back up and you will be able to pay on site.
Who can rent a boat? Are there age requirements?
Per the NC Wildlife Resources Commission, You need education if you were born on or after Jan. 1, 1988, and will be operating a boat or PWC of 10 hp or more in North Carolina.

You must be 26 years of age or older and have a valid drivers license
What should we bring?
The only mandatory item is your Driver’s License for verification of identity.
Other suggestions include:
Towels
sunscreen
sun glasses
camera to record the fun
bait, if your fishing
Infant lifejackets 0-5 years of age.
Don’t worry if you forgot anything, stop in at our Dock-n-Shop marina store for all your favorite items, water sports equipment, food and beverages.
Does the price go up during holidays?
Yes, holiday prices do apply. Holidays are in high demand, due to this you will see a slight increase prices on all major holidays throughout the year.
Deposits are non-refundable during holidays due to limited availability.
Holiday rates may not be present when booking your rental in advance and are subject to change.
Bookings changed during holiday weeks are subject to additional charges and fees.
We require 50% deposits on holidays.
All bookings on holidays must be processed 1 week in advance. Bookings not paid at least 24 hours in advance may result in a loss of deposit and booking.
Whats included in your boat rental?
All of our boats are fully equipped with USCG safety equipment, including life jackets. We also include a map of the area and helpful tips to make your day on the water an adventure you won’t forget.
Any advice for first time renters?
If you’re new to boating or haven’t operated a boat in a while, we recommend taking an NC Wildlife approved Boating Safety Education Course. North Carolina requires any boat operator under the age of 26 to either possess a boating license or to operate the boat under the supervision of someone at least 26 years of age.
